Olive oil is a real case of luck and gratitude: it tastes great and is healthy!
Olive oil contains an average of 8% double-unsaturated fats such as Omega 3 and Omega 6. Both are categorised as especially important to cardio-vascular function. An added advantage are its polyphenols. They make themselves known through added sharpness and bitterness in the freshly poured olive oil. The more of these an oil contains, the longer it preserves its freshness. These antioxidants protect us from free radicals.
